Sunday 18th December

It was said of Edgar Degas that he was one of the wisest men of the 19th century in France. However it was also said of Edgar Degas that he had hideous wind problems which in turn brought about the nickname Degas De Gas. Not only this but it is also said that the wisdom and wind combined led to Bob Dylan knowing that the answer is blowing in the wind. So if you ever head back in time here are a few questions to ask Degas De Gas...

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?

how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?

how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?

how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?

how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?

how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?

how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?

Think you're wiser than Degas... answers on a comment to artyfax!
